I'm not breaking up with you.
But I am saying adios to blogger who seems to give little to no support lately where my photos are concerned. I need someone who cares about the same things I care about, someone who likes to take long walks in the park, curl up by the fire with me while I read a good book and...what?
Ahem. Okay, so please check out my new place over at Wordpress.

I'll never see a tree at all.

Last year we decided to turn it into a road trip from Arizona to Illinois and take in a few sights along the way.

This past Monday Magpie and I were able to get together for the first time in awhile. Our schedule didn’t allow for a leisurely day of picture taking so we opted for a short shopping trip and lunch. We wanted to eat someplace different and decided on a little coffee place Ground Control – which turned out to be much more than “a little coffee place”.

Not because I never thought it would last, but because when I was 20 and he was 18, 30 years seemed like an eternity. At that age you feel like you are invincible anyway. Time is what happens to your parents but never to you. As soon as we were married the military swept us away. If you look very closely you can see the bleachers through the reflections of these gym doors.
Lo-fi photography is a style of photography generally using poor equipment such as toy cameras or pinhole cameras for stylistic effect. This photo is an example of a simulated lo-fi shot. I took it with a digital Nikon D40 mounted with a 55mm Diana lens. You know, the kind where husband and wife work together to meet a common goal and in the process bond together? (If I had a photo of dripping sarcasm I would insert it here).
Now, there are two phrases in the English language that will make me run in the opposite direction just as fast as I can. Unknownnoreply@blogger.com10
