Crafty Weekend

While I was walking through my hometown earlier this month I passed by this interesting display in someones front yard. This one held flags, but I think you could probably do a herb or flower garden in it as well. And since we are headed into a long red, white and blue weekend I thought I would share it here along with the instructions to make one of your own.

Bel Far Niente

Bel Far Niente is an Italian phrase that means "the beauty of doing nothing". I learned this while reading Elizabeth Gilbert's book Eat, Pray, Love (thank you, Colette). Eat, Pray, Love has been made into a movie starring Julia Roberts and will open in August.




But I digress....

Bel far niente is what I plan to be doing this weekend. How about you?
