Personal Happiness commandment #2

“Not Everything Is About You”

important

My friends and I talked about this a lot this weekend. I’m making this one of my personal commandments because of my impatience. It’s a trait that runs in my family, and my husband is always pointing out how impatient I am.

Not everyone, in fact probably no one, is getting in my way/driving too slow/keeping me from getting what I want just because they want to spite me. Putting those kinds of things on a personal level only makes me unhappy. I may be the center of MY universe, but I’m not the center of theirs.

So true and such a positive attitude! We're all just a work in progress...at least you're progressing. :) I seem to be stuck.

Okay, let's talk about this Happiness Project...how many commandments will there be? How does one go about starting such a thing?
