I'm Still Here

I'm just posting over THERE. If you used to follow me through Google Followers, you still can. Here are the four ways you can still follow:
  1. If you host a blog on Blogger and were previously a follower of Life Is A Road Trip on Blogger, you can navigate to your Dashboard, scroll down to your Reading List, click ADD, make sure you have selected ADD FROM URL and enter http://lifeisaroadtrip.wordpress.com/ in the box
  2. Enter http://lifeisaroadtrip.wordpress.com/ in the address bar of your browser. Scroll down to the bottom of the sidebar on the right, click on RSS-Posts and add the feed to the reader of your choice. I have been using Google Reader for awhile now to follow my favorite blogs. It's a great way make sure you don't miss any updates.
  3. If you don't use a reader, there is an option below the RSS-Posts section to have update notifications emailed to you.
  4. Follow me on Twitter by clicking on the Twitter button at the bottom of the sidebar.

It's Not You It's Me.

No, really. I'm not breaking up with you.

But I am saying adios to blogger who seems to give little to no support lately where my photos are concerned. I need someone who cares about the same things I care about, someone who likes to take long walks in the park, curl up by the fire with me while I read a good book and...what?

Ahem. Okay, so please check out my new place over at Wordpress.

This page should automatically re-direct you to the new site within 15 seconds. If it doesn't, please CLICK HERE.

Skywatch Friday - Pines

I think that I shall never see
billboards as lovely as a tree.
Perhaps unless the billboards fall,
I'll never see a tree at all.

This is my Tuesday - Vacation

Having spent our early years of married life in the military and then ending up thousands of miles from where we grew up, most of our vacations have been trips back home to visit family. Last year we decided to turn it into a road trip from Arizona to Illinois and take in a few sights along the way.

I know this is supposed to be a photo, and hope it's okay with Wendy if I share this. It's just a little video mash up of our trip. Because, you know, everyone has to be subjected to boring vacation movies when they come to visit. Haha! (Hint: It is somewhat more enjoyable with the sound turned on.)

Please visit Wendy for more This is my Tuesday posts and see how others spent their vacations.
