She'd never been the nurturing type
and so it took a lot of faith for her to
drop the seeds into the ground,
cover them with dirt
and wait for them to grow.
She would often get into a fight
with the garden hose, throw it down
and stomp away when
it refused to acquiesce
to her demands to straighten up.
All she needed was someone
with a little patience
to tell her she would be
more successful if she'd only
turn the water off.
She didn't work well under pressure.

smiles. i understand the feeling...though i do love digging in the dirt...
On my way to help you with keeping the hose in line! Don't panic! :-)
Oh yes! Sounds like my kind of gardening.
This one was very good too, Tracy. Quite the hidden talent to turn a phrase. Does this mean that Kathy is coming to visit?? Or just teasing?
