Thoughtful Thursday

We are all but recent leaves on the same old tree of life and if this life has adapted itself to new functions and conditions, it uses the same old basic principles over and over again.  There is no real difference between the grass and the man who mows it.
-Albert Szent-Györgyi

(OK, that last sentence is maybe a bit depressing for those of you who mow.)

Actually, it makes me feel better...now maybe all the neighbors will stop avoiding me and UNDERSTAND me. I talk to my grass as I mow it. Contrary to popular belief, I can't hear the people in my head with the mower running, so I have to talk to someone, and the grass seems like a great alternative. Grass is smarter than some people. :) xxoo

This is one of your Diana shots, isn't it? Lovely. How did the one laying in the grass come out?
